Bluebird Café

Bluebird Café is een project van drie leden van countryband Savannah  en singer-songwriter Marcel Verbeek. De naam Bluebird Café verwijst naar het wereldberoemde muziekcafé in Nashville: het mekka van singer-songwriters, waar dagelijks nieuwe talenten en grote legendes optreden.

Bluebird Café is playing its own repertoire, as well as songs by singer-songwriters such as James Taylor, Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. 

This year, Bluebird Café will present a new show and a new album. Bluebird Café's intimate concerts are a must see for people who love acoustic guitar music and polyphonic singing.

Marcel Smulders, Wilma Smulders, and Javier Garcia Vicente have been the heart of Savannah, the most popular country band of the Benelux, for years. Savannah is successfully touring the theaters and festivals in the Netherlands and Europe.

Marcel Verbeek
Marcel Verbeek is a singer-songwriter from Nijmegen, the Netherlands, who has his roots in the province of Brabant. Marcel has released three albums containing his own repertoire and he has played with master guitarist Harry Sacksioni and singer Anneke van Giersbergen, among others.
