During this concert, Hanneke Rouw and Masha Galperina are playing Chopin's cello sonata. In addition, they will play light romantic music by Beethoven, Bruch, and Saint-Saëns.

Hanneke Rouw started playing the cello when she was eight. She enjoyed taking lessons with Rata Kloppenburg and Maria Hol. Hanneke studied with Martijn Vink at the Luca School of Arts in Leuven.

Masha Galperina was born in St Petersburg in Russia. From the age of six, she took piano lessons at the music school in her hometown until she moved to the Netherlands in 2002. From 2005, she studied with Frank van de Laar at ArtEZ Conservatoire Zwolle. She got a 9.5 for her final exam and graduated with distinction in 2012.

Hanneke and Masha have been performing as a duo since 2019. They have jointly been playing in the Netherlands, Germany, England, and Italy.
